Mother and I

On the 24th of May a very important person was born. Who? my mother. I was foolish to understand love. What's true love? and there was a person who made me to understand unconditional love. She is the one person who leads my life. I am very greatful she gave my life. She has been my bestfriend since I was born, and although we have our disagreements, we are very close. In this essay I would like to compare and contrast between me and my bestfriend.


To begin with, as my mother is my mother, we both have common in with each other. Firstly, we look alike much. My eyes and nose resembles her that many people think we are sisters. What is more, me and my mother likes to do the same thing. We both like a dog. We like to talk about dog and we always value our pet "Ddak ji" very much. We like to be eachother and talk about our normal days. Therefore, my mother is the one who gives advices next to me and can understand me the most.


Still, there are many differences between us. Firstly, we have had different grown up enviroments. My mother has three sisters and she is the third from her family. On the contrary, I am the only child. Seconldy, we have different cloth styles. As my mom is older than me she prefers to wear decent and dark colours of clothes. However, I more likely to wear brighter or young stlyes of clothes than my mother. Again, we have opposite personality. I usually act after when I think enough; I consider the consequence of my act first. However, in case of my mother she acts first which means she is brave.


As a result, in this essay you could notice that including me and my mother, every person would have similarities and differences between their mother and themselves. For instance, appearance and hobbies in similarities and differnces in grown up enviroments, cloth styles and personalities. However I would like to say that mothers are role model to every children. As well as others, for me, she is a perfect role model who I love most in the world.

High heels vs flats

Shoes has been worn by people since old days. People wore shoes to protect their feet from getting hurt. Nowadays, as we can see, people still wear shoes. Shoes are something necessary in our life, but not only to protect our feet, there are more purposes such as comforts and beauty . In this essay , I will be going to compare and contrast the two types of shoes which are high heels and flats.

Shoes provides more than one function in life, especially for women. Shoes help people to look more fationable. It is one of the item of the fashion. There is a word which says that shoes are the best and finals in the fashion. Moreover, high heels and flats are both something we normally wear. They protect our feets from the ground and dirt.

First, high heels are woman's best friends and most of all woman's desires. They make us look taller, by few centimeters to 13cm. High heels are worn by many types of people, models, students, career women, and etc. This is because they help women to be sexier and more women. In the contrast, low heels are worn by everyone. They are very comfortable, and easy to wear. You can run, dance and be more active. In addition, you can get less tired from walking.

In conclusion, both heels and flats are worn by people for many advantages. Such as comforts and fashion .Therefore, people have their own right to choose their shoes according to their situation. In my personal thoughts, I beilive that heels could be more attractive for woman.

Bugerking vs MC Donalds

Nowadays instant food is very common in our lives as many people are busy and stressed. One of the most famous fast food restaurants among people are Mc Donalds and Burgerking. Which one will you choose? The purpose of this essay is to compare and contrast between Burgerking and Mc Donalds.

First, it is fact that Bugerking and Mc Donalds are both fast food restaurant that focus on burger meals. Moreover, they are both very cheap. Many students can afford to buy a burger, a slide dish and a drink for less than ten Singapore dollars. Besides, they are both international so that you can easily find in many countries all over the world.

Here are the main differences between Mc Donalds and BurgerKing. The first difference is about their opening hours, Mc Donalds is open 24 hours while Burgerking has a normal office hours timetable. Another difference is that Mc Donalds not only serve burger but also has a new chain call Mc cafe. These coffee places attract other customers such as businessmen that need a more relaxed place to meet up with clients. The last difference we can think about is menu. Mc Donalds has more choices than BK such as Mc flurry. etc.

To sum up, there are both advantages and disadvantages between Bugerking and Mc Donalds. Therefore, you can choose the one that attracts you more. Keep in mind that wherever you decide to eat you will enjoy it!

Advantages of living ouside the city

Would you like to live boring life locked in a city? I prefer living outside the city as there are many advantages and city is more fascinating and attracting for people to live. For instance, city is more developed ,have a better chance to receive a good education and there are comfortable transportation. In this essay, I would like to write advantages and support for the living in the city.



Firstly, city is a very developed place where you can live with many convenience. You can enjoy variety of services and entertainment easily. For example, when you are sick or infected by a disease, you can straightly find a doctor and receive a medical treatment. And also you could enjoy modern civilized life at ordinary times such as watching movie, going museums and games.


Secondly, there are good chances to receive a good education and more chances to study. There are many academies and good university for you to choose. It will help you to develop your ability. Moreover, if you graduate a school , it is easy for you to find a job . You can work in a big company or you can easily find a part-time job. You will also get higher salaries and have a better future.


Lastly, city has good transportation. Nowadays transportation system is getting more and more developed every day. For example, in Korea, there is a taxi which crosses through the upper reaches of a water for the office worker because of the traffic jam in the morning. Governments also makes an new idea for the convenient use. City provides every kind of transportation around us such as taxi,bus,subway and airplane. Transportation brings a big convenience to our lives as it reduces much time. For example, it take only 30 minutes to go to school if you use transportation.

To sum up, there are many advantages of living in a city. I prefer living in a cities because it is developed, better education and comfortable transportation. For these reasons I think cities are attractive enough to live than living in a countryside.

National Service is good as it prepares citizens in case of war

Nowadays, in many countries young man are sent to the national services for compulsory. A man has to spend at least two or more years to finish their services. However, many people complaints about going national services and some people thinks it is waste of time and it is an infringement of freedom for oneself. In my point of view, even though there are dark sides of national services it can be good for yourself for many reasons. For instance , they can build up their self-experiences , prepare citizens from the war and it gives a chance to look back their past. In this essay I would like to support the reasons why national service is good.

To begin with, national service gives people a self-experiences. National service can be a small society. A man stays with 200-300 peoples together and it gives a chance to meet variety kinds of people. And after a few years of life in military one will learn to cooperate each other .Moreover, people will get to know broad world with many peoples from different places. A man who used to rely on their parents will learn to live without their family and become independent as national service force a man to do everything by its own. National service makes a man to work hard to be recognized.

Secondly, you can protect your country as you prepare in case of war. In national service, you will be training every day so that your body will get very strong and fit. They learn how to use weapons such as guns or missile and improve their skills. There are also many different structure in army. For example, there are air force, navy and military services. You can choose a portion where you want to specialize in and it will be aggresive towards the enemy if these portion works well. When the war begins, there is more possibility of a safety if country has more people who has been to national services. So it is important to have well organized national services and nobody know when war might begin.

Lastly, national service gives you time to look back over the past and gives you an oppertunity. You might think about what goal you had , make a plan what you can do after finishing your services and what you are interested at in detached way. Because of these reasons, many people gets mature after when they come back from the national services

In conclusion, national service can be stressful for a man therefore some tries to avoid to go to the army, however I would like to say there are also many advantages. For instance they can build up their self-experience, prepare from the war, and give them time to look back their past.

Fast food vs Healthy food

Nowadays, many people are having busy days, Therefore many people choose to eat fast foods. However, some people are conecerned a lot about their health and prefer not to eat fast food. I think there are both advantages and disadvantages. In this essay, I would like to compare and contrast fast food and healthy food.

Fast food has improved people's lives. Firstly, the greatest saving is in time, A fast food meal can be prepared in few minutes. For example, there are many restuarant that are very easy to find like Mc Donald's, KFC, Pizza Hut, etc where you can get your meal straight after you order it. Seconldy, fast food is cheaper than healthy food. For instance, many poeple go to MC Donald's for a cheaper meal than what it is served in Sushi Tei. On the other hand, there are certain drawbacks of eating fast foods. Eating frequent fast food causes people to gain weight and have risk of developing insiuiln resistance. In America, there are many obesity cases due to eating oily fast foods.

There are many people who cares about their health. Firstly, healthy food is nutritious. It will give you bindles of energy and vitamins, and you will rarely get sick. Secondly, it is believed that eating healthy food you will live longer. However, healthy food is not easy to find nowadays as there are many fast food restaurants around us.

In conclusion, there are both advantages and disadvantages of both fast food and healthy food. Therefore, it is best if you chooses suitable food depending on your situation.
